Welcome to 7 Purple Social Studies! I am Mrs. MacAulay and have been a teacher at AMS since 2007. Before I became a teacher I worked in educational travel and marketing. I grew up and still live in NH with my husband, my son, and our dog. I received my BA in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College and my M.Ed in Middle School Education from Salem State College. My family and I love to travel and explore the histories and cultures of the world. Having spent time living and traveling over seas I believe that travel is an important part of education. It allows people to appreciate and respect the diversity of the world today. It also is a great way to create real life connections to history. I am also an avid reader, enjoy hiking, spending time at the beach with my family, and I love to bake and cook.
