We are now covering Part 2 of Unit 1 now, focusing on seasons. Students wll be assessed with a diagram of the seasons instead of a paper/pencil quiz. This diagram will be done in class. I will give them the information about what is expected, and they will be responsible for finishing it (at home if need be).

Students can reread the passage a few times before the assessment to "study"
When reviewing grades, students are always given the opportunity to earn back points to improve a score.
Amplify writing activities: students are required to look at teacher feedback and the rubric score and edit their work to improve at least one of the rubric scores.
Amplify Solo activities: Once students see their score, they can ask for a printed copy of the online assignment to fix their mistakes. For each incorrect question they fix, they earn back half a point.
