This year we have three learning modules.

Module 1(Term 1-2): Forces (Physical World Science)

Module 2(Term 2-3): Energy - heat, light & sound (Physical World Science)

Key Understandings:

* I know that heat, light, and sound are forms of energy.

* I understand that heat is the transfer of energy from one object to another due to a temperature difference.

* I understand that light is a form of energy that travels out in all directions, in straight lines, from a variety of sources, including the sun.

* I understand that sound is the energy things produce when they vibrate. It travels as waves.

* I can explain that observing, questioning, hypothesising, testing, and concluding make up the scientific method of inquiry.
