Module 1: Forces (Physical World Science)

Key Understandings

• I can name and explain force, friction, and gravity

• I understand that an object's movement is influenced by a range of contact and non-contact forces.

• I know that a force is not an object you can hold, it is an action that is done.

• I can name and talk about Newton's 3 laws, and observe them in the world around me.

• I understand that observing, questioning, hypothesising, testing, and concluding make up the scientific method of inquiry.
