I've learned a lot of leadership and organizational skills from DECA while participating in fundraising events, doing random acts of kindness and competing. DECA is a great club because you get to go on trips, make new friends and have a positive impact on the community.

DECA has been a great way for me to discover more about the business world. I have learned more about leadership and responsibility through DECA. Competing at ICDC has been the highlight of DECA for me. I've met many people and have made a lot of new business connections.

Deca has provided me a platform to emerge as a leader and multiple opportunities to effectively communicate in order to succeed.

Joining DECA was the best decision I have made in my three years at Ames High. Through DECA I have met some amazing people, experienced real world business situations and grown as a leader... all while having a great time!
