Do I need anything else to be an EMT?

Yes. After meeting all class requirements, our Program Director will verify your course completion on the National Registry website. You will then need to:

1. Pass the NREMT Cognitive Exam

2. Obtain local accreditation in your chosen county 

• Fresno/ Kings/ Madera/ Tulare County Certification

• Other Counties in California

Why is the assessment test link not working?

The assessment test link will be disabled once all appointments for the upcoming class have been filled. Please fill out our interest form and we will email you when assessment testing is available again.

What is the assessment test like? 

1. Math – Covers topics up to basic algebra.

2. Science – Includes subjects related to first aid and biology, typically covered in high school or an entry-level college course.

3. Writing Prompt – Assesses your writing ability.

How long will it take me to complete the assessment test?

The assessment test is not timed, but most candidates typically complete it in under 1.5 hours. The amount of time it takes can vary depending on your individual pace and familiarity with the test material. 

Are there payment plans available?

We understand that paying the full amount of tuition upfront can be challenging. If you're experiencing financial difficulties, payment plans are available to help make tuition more manageable. All payment plans are pre-scheduled, and details regarding your specific plan will be provided in your admission letter.

Will you have a summer or fall class?

As mentioned on the Classes page, future class dates are still to be determined. Once the dates for upcoming classes are finalized, we will promptly update our website with the latest information.

Can I receive an email notification when new course information is available or when the testing link is active?

Yes, please fill out our EMT Class Interest Form to be added to our notification list. We will notify you when our new course information is updated and the testing link becomes active. 

Can I get a tuition adjustment if I already have my BLS Provider Card?

No. This class is built into our course and class hours without exception.  

Can I get a tuition adjustment if I already have the paper back book?

No, due to the level of access we provide with our course.
