Housekeeping Information:
2024 School Year: This school year will be unlike any other school year. However together we can make sure your child has the best possible year. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
Water bottles: Please have your child bring a labeled water bottle to school everyday. Our working minds need to hydrate.
Lunch: Lunch is free to all students. 1st grade has lunch at 11:35. Recess follows lunch.
Dismissal Changes: Please mark on your child's folder how they are getting home or if there is a change in their daily routine.
Birthday Invitations: Please remember that every child has feelings and wants to be included. Do NOT pass out invitations at school unless you are generous enough to invite the whole class. Thank you for preventing hurt feelings. We have 14 wonderful 1st graders.
Reading needs to happen at home each and every night! Your child needs to be reading to you. Check out the Reading tab under Homework to see the graphic why!
Rapid Word Sheet: Weekly sight words will be sent home at the beginning of each week. Your first grader should read the words as quickly as possible so these words become memorized.
