Core curriculum teachers in Reading Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies who have a student identified for GT services in their classroom are required to obtain their 30-hour GT training within one semester. After completing this initial 30-hour course, they must also complete a 6-hour GT update annually to maintain their certification.

If you have completed the 30-hour GT course in another district, please email your certificate to Kelsey Lorenz at kelsey.lorenz@amaisd.org so it can be added to your AISD Eduphoria profile. The annual 6-hour update period runs from July 1st through June 30th. To check how many hours you have completed toward your 6-hour update, please log in to your Eduphoria profile.
