Homework is assigned to enhance or practice what was covered in class. It is essential that homework be completed to the best of your ability and turned in on time. Homework points are earned, primarily, by completing it to the best of your ability, on time, with all directions followed. Not all homework will receive points.
Should you have a legitimate reason for not completing your homework, please come speak with me so we can discuss it and make alternate arrangements for you to complete it. Homework will be posted in the link to the homework page in your Google Classroom or by clicking the "Homework and Information Page" below.
**Please note: Items may change throughout the week due to class pacing or activity changes. The most updated information should be in your planner as it is posted in our physical classroom. All homework is due the following day unless stated otherwise.
Homework Policy
This is for regular, daily homework, not longer projects or assignments.
The rubric:
2 pts: The assignment is complete, on-time, neat, organized, and all directions were
followed.
1 pt: The assignment is on-time, there may be minor errors in following
directions, completeness, neatness, or organization.
0 pts: The assignment is missing or not meeting the requirements for the points
listed above.
Note: Daily homework will not be accepted late for credit (w/the exception of students who were absent); however, students should complete and check the work with a peer or ask for the answer key from the teacher to make sure they understand the concepts.
