WELCOME!
Welcome to the EPSHRM SHRM Certification Study Group.
My name is Jose Barraza, SHRM-CP, and I am honored to serve as the Certification Director for EPSHRM. I have 13 years of experience in Human Resources and hold the SHRM-CP credential.
This study group is designed to support HR professionals preparing for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam. I am joined by a team of experienced instructors who are prepared, knowledgeable, and familiar with the SHRM BASK, exam structure, and practical study strategies.
The purpose of this group is to help you stay focused, organized, and accountable as you prepare for the exam. Each session will follow a consistent format:
Warm-up question.
Short knowledge check.
Focused review of SHRM BASK content.
Practice questions and discussion.
Brief debrief with next steps.
We will use curated resources, real-world HR scenarios, group discussion, and accountability check-ins to support your preparation. Your role is to commit to steady study time, active participation, and honest self-assessment. Our role is to provide structure, guidance, feedback, and practical tools to help you prepare with confidence.
Thank you for investing in your professional growth and for being part of this EPSHRM study group.
