Course Description
This is an advanced art class designed to prepare students to continue taking studio Art in high school, on track to eventually take AP art courses. This is a hands-on studio art ocurse emphasizing drawing, design, color theory, and 3-dimensional art. Students will work with a variety of media, such as, printmaking, acrylic paint, oil and chalk pastels, paper mache, paper making, fibers, watercolor and clay. Students will participate in Jr. VASE and various other experiences aligned with this course.

There will be a $40 studio fee for all art classes ($20/semester)
