Welcome to the SCHS One Voice Honor Choir website!

We’re excited to have you here! This page is your go-to resource for rehearsal tracks and information about rehearsal/concert locations and dates. Be sure to check in and practice regularly as we prepare for our performance on December 10th. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Students' Choir Directors' information is listed below.

For rehearsals*, students should report to their future junior high school, regardless of their current school attendance.

*Some Duke and Brothers students may go to Nolan Ryan JH in 6th grade, and some Marek students may go to McNair JH in 6th grade. Students should attend their anticipated Junior High for rehearsals.

5:30-7:00PM - Rehearsal @ Middle School Campuses (see designated campus below)

Marek and Wilder: report to NOLAN RYAN JH at the C2 doors- Kirby entrance next to Marek Elementary, BACK of School
Duke, York, and Brothers: report to McNAIR JH at the C3 DOORS, BACK of School, at the Cafeteria

Thursday, December 4th

5:30-7:00PM - Rehearsal @ Middle School Campuses (see designated campus below)

Wednesday, December 10th

Attire: One Voice Honor Choir T Shirt and Black Pants, dark closed toe shoes

4:45-5:00- Elementary students arrive for check-in (enter via auditorium entrance at the right side of the school)
5:00PM - Dress Rehearsal @ SHADOW CREEK HS
6:00PM - Combined Rehearsal with High School students
6:15PM - Eat in the choir room, break
6:55PM - Seated for performance
7:00 PM - Concert start
8:30 PM - Concert end (approx.)

FAQS

What if I cannot attend the first rehearsal?

Depending on what school your child is reporting to, email Mr. Park (jpark@alvinisd.net) or Ms. Scott (ascott@alvinisd.net) and notify them of changes in attendance.

What if I do not know which school I am going to next year?

Please report your child to the Junior High campus that your student's campus feeds into. (See: "feeders" next to directors' name and contact info on the first section above.)
