Hi Navigators!

I am Maria Torres. I am beyond excited to be your child's 1st grade teacher. This upcoming school year (2022-2023) will be my 9th year teaching in Alvin ISD.

I was raised in Pearland and currently reside in Houston. I attended the University of Houston- Main Campus where I received a Bachelor's of Science in Teaching and Learning. GO COOGS!! I have previously taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in Alvin ISD.

I enjoy spending time with my family and fiancé, traveling, exercising, and trying out different restaurants.
