About Mr. Franklin

I graduated at Excelsior College while I was on Active Duty in the U.S. Army. I spent over 20 years in either the active Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard and I am currently in the Retired Reserve. After I left active duty I entered into education where I worked as technology support for almost four years and then I transitioned into teaching technology about 10 years ago. My wife and I have been married for almost 22 years and we have two wonderful children. My daughter is a junior at Texas A&M University (Go Aggies) and my son is a sophomore and an engineering major at Rice University (go Owls).

I have taught many different Project Lead the Way and other technology courses in the past but always at the Jr. Hight level (mostly 8th grade) so this is my first high school teaching position and my first time working at a brand new school. I am so excited to be your teacher and explore this new school year with each of you.
