The Iowa Colony Junior High Student Council (ICJH StuCo) is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting leadership, school spirit, and community service. We are proud to be one of the most active and impactful organizations on campus, empowering students to make a difference both in and out of the classroom.Â
As outlined in our Constitution, our purpose is to:
Give students a meaningful voice in school decisions
Foster school spirit and a strong sense of community
Organize and lead student-led events and service projects
Raise awareness of key topics like:
Environmental responsibility
Drugs, Alcohol, Safety, and Health (D.A.S.H.)
Patriotism and pride
Community service and outreach
Any student of Iowa Colony Junior High may join the Student Council as a member. They must first complete an application and pay their dues of $20 for the year. They must maintain good academic and behavioral standing throughout the school year.
General Student Council Meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month.
Student Council Officer Meetings will be held on the last Wednesday of every month.
