Hi! My name is LaShanda Hurst and I am proud to call Harby Junior High, my new home. This will be my second year teaching. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, even when I was young. I love helping others learn and grow. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree from the University of Arizona Global Campus.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies include reading a great book, binge watching a great show, and going biking whenever the weather is nice.

We are going to learn so many great things this year, and I am looking forward to every minute of it!
