Mr. Rye

Welcome to Social Studies class!

I studied at Texas A&M Corpus Christi for three years, then finished my degree at University of Houston Clear Lake. I met my wife, Kelli, while at UHCL. Now we have a three sons, Noah, and identical twin sons, Nathan and Nicholas, who were born Feb. 25, 2020.  

I began teaching at Alvin High School in January 2005 and joined ASSETS in 2010.  

I hope to share my love for education and social studies with my students each and everyday. I find each day as a new adventure to learn something. 

My passions are my family, sports, cooking and reading. Golf is my favorite sport to play, which I have been doing since 1993.  I am a passionate Chicago Cubs fan.
