Students need to have their science safety contracts signed. They will be held to all the expectations outlined in the contract. Ms. Nguyen explains the expectations, procedures, and consequences (for failure to comply) before any activity and investigation. Students repeat the expectations, procedures, and consequences back. Then, she gives students time to ask questions. There are no excuses for student not understanding what is expected and what is the consequence.
