All About Me:

Welcome to fifth grade! My name is Ms. Nguyen, and I am a proud alumni of the University of Texas at Austin. Go Longhorns! I have taught for over a decade, and this is my fourth year in Alvin I.S.D. My hobbies include reading, baking, and trying out new arts/crafts ideas. My final products might not always be a success, but I have fun in the process.

I believe that all students have a successful future story. Some already know what they want to be while others are still figuring it out. It is my purpose to give students the tools and skills they need for whichever path they follow. Therefore, I integrate a variety of methods to develop and deepen not only their scientific understanding but also soft skills needed in today's society. This can look like hands-on investigations, team collaborations, projects, and more.

I am so excited to be part of your journey as you explore, discover, and extend your scientific understanding. Our year is packed with learning and of course fun. I look forward to seeing you grow and becoming inquirers, thinkers. ~Ms. Nguyen
