School Start Dates: August 11 2025 (9th grade only)

Completing The Enrollment Process
All students new to Alvin ISD must follow the following steps:
Complete Enrollment paperwork online and submit necessary documents - June 16th-July 3rd (AISD Enrollment Procedures). After June 4th, please call to schedule an enrollment appointment by contacting MHS (281) 254-2921.
Once you have completed the enrollment process with the central enrollment center, you will receive a call from MHS to schedule a virtual meeting with a Counselor to select classes for the 2025-2026 school year
You will then email the following information to Mrs. Foster (Lead Counselor) at afoster@alvinisd.net
Transcript from the previous school (current 9th-11th grade students)
Last Report Card from the previous school (Incoming 9th-grade students)
The official records will be requested by the MHS Registrar's Office. However, we will not have it in time for your scheduled meeting. For this reason, we ask that you send us a copy prior to your meeting so that the Counselor can review and ensure accuracy in the course selection process.
Resources to Assist with Course Selection
Review the information listed below. Every student is required to select a Career Pathway that they are interested in. This will assist with the course planning process when you meet with a counselor. Assist your child with making a decision prior to the scheduled counselor meeting. The Alvin ISD High School Course Guide is an excellent tool to use to view graduation plans, endorsement options (career pathways), etc. The course guide can be accessed below and is posted on the Alvin ISD and MHS websites.

Review all the ways your student can reach this goal while matriculating through Manvel High School. Whether they start with us as freshman or seniors we want all Mavericks to "Get Ready" for the next journey after high school!
