Manvel High School

2022 Summer Enrollment

School Start Dates: August 17, 2022 (9th grade only)

August 18, 2022 (All students)

Completing The Enrollment Process

All students new to Alvin ISD must follow the following steps:

  1. Schedule an appointment at the AISD Central Enrollment Center. Information for enrollment can be located on the AISD webpage or by clicking "Central Enrollment Center"

  2. Once you have completed the enrollment process at the Annex building, you will receive a call from MHS to schedule a virtual meeting with a Counselor to select classes for the 2022-2023 school year

  3. You will then email the following information to Mrs. Foster (Lead Counselor) at afoster@alvinisd.net

    1. Transcript from the previous school (current 9th-11th grade students)

    2. Last Report Card from the previous school (Incoming 9th-grade students)

The official records will be requested by the MHS Registrar's Office. However, we will not have it in time for your scheduled meeting. For this reason, we ask that you send us a copy prior to your meeting so that the Counselor can review and ensure accuracy in the course selection process.

Review the information listed below. Every student is required to select a Career Pathway that they are interested in. This will assist with the course planning process when you meet with a counselor. Assist your child with making a decision prior to the scheduled counselor meeting. The Alvin ISD High School Course Guide is an excellent tool to use to view graduation plans, endorsement options (career pathways), etc. The course guide can be accessed below and is posted on the Alvin ISD and MHS websites.
