COACH ROBERTS

I am in my 27th year of teaching/coaching and my 7th year at Manvel.  I have taught at First Colony Middle School, Clements High School, Westfield High School and most recently I spent 11 years at Houston Lamar High School.  I played college baseball at Benedictine University, McHenry County College and I received my degree in History and Education from Texas Lutheran University where I played baseball for 2 seasons.  I have been married for 20 years to Angie Roberts, who is also an educator at Wilder Elementary where she teaches 4th grade.  We have an adopted son Gabriel who is in the 10th grade at Manvel.  I am an avid sports fan and I am still celebrating the 2016 Chicago Cubs World Series Championship.  We live in Sienna and we are members of New Hope Church in Manvel.
