Student Info & FAQ

Students: Your work in my class comes BEFORE your phone. I will not allow you to do the work at home so that you can play on your phone in my class.

Supplies needed:

  • Pencils

  • At least 2 Composition-style Notebooks

  • Small package of dry erase markers for you to use in class

  • Virtual Students: Download the Autentico App via Android or Iphone App Store

  • Students, no matter what career you may have in mind for the future, learning Spanish can not only be fun and interesting but it can also help you be a more employable worker in your future field.

  • You are required to take 2 years in any foreign language. So, taking Spanish 1 and French 1 will not meet those needs.

  • Be sure you know your school email and login info. It will be needed very often.

  • Be sure you use your school email as your login for Google Classroom.

  • Download Google Classroom and the Skyward App on your device.

  • Yes, we will be speaking, writing, and listening in Spanish.

  • We will also be learning about the various cultures of the Spanish-Speaking World.

  • We do offer levels of Spanish for Native Speakers as well.


  • Do you have a bad grade in my class?

    • Did you Study?

      • "Yes." Are you sure?!?

      • "No." That's what I thought.

    • Have you come to tutorials?

      • "No." Then help yourself out and come by.

      • "I've tried but I can't make it to yours due to conflicts."

      • First off, I offer morning tutorials but you can also attend tutorials of any other Spanish teacher.

      • Lastly, Shark U is an available after school tutoring starting in September and each Monday, of the programmed weeks, there will be a Spanish teacher available from 3:00-5:00 pm.

      • No student should ever be able to use the excuse of not being able to make tutorials. There are too many options available.


If you pay attention, do your work, and study, you WILL be capable of passing Spanish 1.
