About Me:

As a teacher, coach, and mentor, I love being an encouragement to those around me and inspiring them to accomplish things that they never dreamed were possible. I graduated from both Alvin High School and Alvin Community College before pursuing a bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University. Some might consider me a world traveler as I have traveled all around the world to serve on various mission projects, and those who know me best know that I cannot wait for my next great adventure. I love learning about different people and experiencing their culture firsthand. After returning from a summer teaching English as a foreign language in Croatia I felt the need to further my education even more which led to the completion of my master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015. Nothing could prepare me for what would happen 3 years later, but it has served to renew my resolve to be the change that I want to see in this world and is a big part of what led me to enter the world of education. We can all make this world a better place by intentionally investing in others and striving to be 1% better every day. I believe in being a life-long student and I seek to instill that in those I teach. Along with being a mentor, some of my greatest passions include traveling the world to serve others and take in the sights, learning new things and teaching others, surfing, hiking, camping, riding motorcycles, and visiting all 63 national parks! Life is a journey; live the dream!
