Our goal within the Caffey Choir Program is for students to love to sing by exposing them to different styles of music and giving them a safe space to experiment and learn. Students can be a part of choir even if they are active in other school or community activities; we have additional chances outside of school and are happy to coordinate schedules when we can for people wanting to be involved in lots of places!
Students will learn performance etiquette, the value of hard work, time management, how to overcome anxiety, how to create and foster lasting relationships, and more!
This website has lots of useful information for students, parents, and anyone who wants to support Fine Arts. Use the tabs at the top of the page to find what you're looking for, or send an email to the choir director, Mr. Thorp at, nthorp@alvinisd.net to get started.
