Born and raised in South Louisiana, I moved to the great state of Texas in 2018. After graduating from Louisiana State University (GEAUX TIGERS!) in 2004, I attended law school at the Southern University Law Center. Upon graduating in 2007 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, I worked for law firms in Chicago, IL & Monroe, LA for many years before deciding to follow my heart to become an educator. This is my 6th year in education! This year, I will be teaching Principles of Law, Criminal Investigation, and Law Enforcement 1. I previously taught ELA at both the high school and middle school level. I love being a member of the MHS family and I'm looking forward to a great 23-24 school year! HOKA HEY!
