About Me:
I am excited to begin my 11th year of teaching English at RISE Academy. I became an educator because I love working with students, and I am passionate about my subject. No matter what career path each student chooses, becoming a proficient reader and writer is the essential part of success. Encouraging my students to write on a daily basis and helping them find the right books that will make them fall in love with reading brings meaning to my professional life. Seeing students succeed or take small steps towards success is my biggest reward. My ultimate goal is to continue inspiring my students to become life-long learners and hardworking individuals.
