Mrs. Hoelscher

My name is Lori Hoelscher and I am SO excited to be your child's ASDII teacher this year! I have my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University. I am certified in EC-6 all subjects, ESL, and All Level Special Education. I also recently obtained my masters in Special Education with an Educational Diagnostician Certification and am working on obtaining my Principal Certification.

I am happily married to my amazing husband who is a high school Government and Economics teacher, as well as Varsity Football and Varsity Baseball coach. We have one beautiful daughter who turned 1 over the summer. They completely fill my heart and fuel me with the love I need to be the person I am.

I have worked in a variety of settings, with people of all ages, with disabilities. I worked as a camp counselor 3 summers in a row at Texas Elks Camp, a camp for children with disabilities, as well as a Weekend Resident Assistant at Down Home Ranch, a facility for adults with disabilities. Working with people with special needs is my passion in life, and I cannot wait to see all the progress your children make this year!
