Mrs. Robinson has been the director of the Alvin High School Dance Department since 2005 and she also serves as the lead dance teacher for Alvin ISD. Mrs. Robinson graduated with honors from the University of Houston in 2004, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. Mrs. Robinson served on the TDEA executive board for 5 years, and she currently volunteers on numerous committees. She was nominated by her peers and was awarded the TDEA Director of the Year for 2018. Mrs. Robinson loves being a part of the Alvin ISD family and continues to maintain the tradition of excellence.

Mrs. Winkenwerder is an Alvin High School Alumni where she was a four year member of the Jacketeer Dance Team serving as colonel her junior and senior year. She is a graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Dance Therapy. Before transferring to A&M, she was a two year member, captain and 2x NDA National Champion dancer on the McLennan Community College Dance Company. Mrs. Winkenwerder is very excited to return to Alvin ISD and share her love of dance with all of her students.
