About Me

Hello my Maverick Family and Friends!  

I am super excited to be teaching at Manvel High School (MHS) this school year where we Hoka Hey EVERYDAY and serve the educational needs of our students!  I am going into my 3rd year of teaching the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering programs of study and 1st year at MHS.  I have been working in education for 8 years now!

Every year has had its share of challenges and this year is no different but we will get through them because "#WeAreManvel"; which is our 2022 theme for this school year.  For the 2022-2023 school year, I have the pleasure of teaching Principles of Engineering (PoE), and Principles of Information Technology (PIT).

I am a proud native of Houston, Texas where I graduated Stratford High School. I've obtained my Bachelor's of Science Degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering in Atlanta, GA. I am a math, science, and technology education teacher. I started my teaching career as a math teacher for over 3 years and since I have had the pleasure of teaching the PLTW courses Digital Electronics, Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Principles of Engineering.

I am looking forward to teaching your children and hopeful that we, working as a collaborative team will result in achieved success for our students!
