About Me

Hello my Attucks Middle School Families and Friends!  

I am super excited to be teaching at Attucks Middle School (AMS) this school year where we serve the educational needs of our students!  I am going into my 5th year of teaching the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering programs of study and 1st full year at AMS.  I have been working in education for 10 years now!

Every year has had its share of challenges and this year is no different but we will get through them. For the 2025-2026 school year, I have the pleasure of teaching Principles of Information Technology, and Principles of Applied Engineering. I am looking forward to utilizing the PLTW curriculum of Design and Modeling and Automation and Robotics for the middle school level.

I am a proud native of Houston, Texas where I graduated Stratford High School. I've obtained my Bachelor's of Science Degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering in Atlanta, GA. I am a math, science, and technology education teacher. I started my teaching career as a math teacher for over 3 years mostly Algebra 1 and since I have had the pleasure of teaching the PLTW courses Digital Electronics, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Principles of Engineering, Computer Science Essential, Cybersecurity, and University of Texas at Austin On-ramps. I have also taught an Engineering Practicum and Principles of Information Technology.

I am looking forward to teaching your children and am hopeful that we, working as a collaborative team will result in achieved success for our students!
