In the field of Latin and Romance languages and linguistics, I have worked particularly on the use of prepositions as markers of nominal and clausal complements, the former yielding their use as case-markers which, in almost all Romance dialects, have the distribution of Differential Object Marking (DOM), and the latter giving rise to non-finite infinitival complementisers.
