Simin (Steven) Ma
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Machine Learning at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, advised by Dr. Nicoleta Serban, and Dr. Shihao Yang. Prior to attending Georgia Tech, I received my bachelor's degree in Mathematical Statistics and Computer Science from Wake Forest University.
My research focuses on machine learning and data science inspired applications, including health care systems, infectious disease, and dynamic systems, with a particular interest in analysis and decision making driven by optimization and statistics.
