I have a PhD in Cognitive, Computational, and Social Neurosciences with a specialization in Behavioral and Experimental Economics. I am actively working on several projects investigating the neuroscience and psychology of aggressive and hostile behaviors, mental fatigue, behavioral economics, gender differences, cognitive biases in the general population, and risk preferences in healthy adults and Parkinsonian patients. My research interests comprise various forms of impulsive and decontrolled behavior (e.g., aggressivity) as well as how hostile behaviors arise in situations of cooperation and punishment, further investigating the genetic and cognitive determinants of these two elements. I am also a skilled EEG operator and often use this technique to investigate my research questions. Additionally, I am specialized in experimental designs (both in the fields of experimental economics and experimental psychology), psychological questionnaire administration, and data analysis.
I am a registered Psychologist, have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Padua, and hold a background in neuropsychological evaluations and Forensic Psychology.
