Project Coordinator
Abu Bakarr Barrie is a driven climate change and research enthusiast from Sierra Leone, West Africa, whose experiences with change have moulded who I am. Through groundbreaking research and development and awareness raising, I teach local people about climate change, environmental degradation, restoration and conservation of wetland ecosystems, and the critical need to protect biodiversity and wildlife. Additionally, through scientific-oriented research, I contribute to improving environmental policies currently mitigating or even reducing the negative consequences of environmental disasters, wetland ecosystem destruction, wildlife species extinction, and biodiversity loss across Sierra Leone.
