Ingrid Mae De Jesus uses she/they pronouns.
They graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines - Diliman, College of Social Science and Philosophy (CSSP) in 2019 with a baccalaureate degree in Philosophy. She specializes in the study of Ancient Philosophy, Comparative/Asian Philosophy, and Philosophy in Media and Pop-culture. Other fields of interest include Feminist Studies, and Korean Studies.
At present Mx. De Jesus is an instructor in the Department of Philosophy at UP Diliman, mainly handling General Education courses (Philosophy 1: Philosophical Analysis and Philosophy 10: Approaches to Philosophy) in line with UP CSSP's mandate as a service college.
They are currently pursuing their master's degree in philosophy at UP Diliman.

In 2025, UP KRC hosts its 10th Philippine Korean Studies Symposium which, since its first organization in 2012, has provided a forum for Korean studies scholars and educators in the Philippines to gain and exchange new knowledge, and share their insights on Korea. The objectives of PKSS are (1) to promote academic research on Korea-related studies by Filipino scholars here and abroad, (2) to strengthen Korean studies as area studies, and (3) to develop networks with both local and international institutions. PKSS aims to feature the potential of Korean studies by providing vital information through quality research. This activity is conducted as part of UP KRC’s policy-oriented research project 2024-25 with the support of the Korea Foundation-한국국제교류재단 (Ref. 2221100-1463)."

In celebration of the 75th diplomatic anniversary between the Philippines and Korea, UP KRC is organizing the very first Philippine K-culture Conference that dedicates to invite scholars who will share research on a variety of aspects of Korean culture, including K-pop, media (e.g., television/OTT/film), fandom, gaming, webtoons, food, fashion, and other cultural phenomena. With international speakers and local scholars, the conference looks forward to discussions and exchange of insights in depth in the Philippine as well as global K-culture arenas.
