Welcome to AltaBright!

We are a community of families in Oxford, MI, united around the goal of empowering our young adults, ages 11-20 (grades 6-early college) to make the best use of their time, while becoming the best version of themselves!

Learning-by-Matrix is an approach to homeschooling that provides unlimited options for customization, but with a transcript that seamlessly bridges into all post-secondary opportunities. This process provides a structure to document progress and unify peers in social learning experiences, yet allows parents to retain 100% say over all decisions related to the learning experience. 

The diagram above illustrates our model, "Learning-by-Matrix." This model allows you, as students and families in our community, to be at the center of the education experience; our system of tools and support cater to your needs and preferences. If desired, it can even provide a high school diploma that matches Michigan Merit Curriculum standards, while maintaining nearly unlimited customization! 

We have no religious affiliation and all are welcome to our community! Families generally meet twice/week.
