Hi, my name is Mrs. Lesa Heschke, and my husband Jim and I live in Alta.  We have four daughters. Geneva('10), our oldest daughter, and son-in-law Andrew('09) live a few blocks away from us. They blessed us with our first two grandchildren, Bennett James who is 7 years old, and Harper Geneva, who is 4 years old. Olivia('14), our second oldest daughter, and is married to Dane Lenhart, a St. Mary's graduate. They have a daughter, Vivian Grace, who is our fourth grandchild, and Iyla Jane who was born in April 2023. Cristena ('14), our third daughter and Olivia's twin, is married to Alex Stephan ('13) and they have a daughter Nora Sarah who is our fifth grandchild. Andrea('15), our youngest daughter is married to Mitchel McDonald('14) and they have our third grandchild, a boy named Axel Wayne who is 3 years old, and Rowan Elizabeth our seventh grandchild.  

As your teacher, I am excited to get to get to know you and your family this year.  I have been teaching for 23 years with 18 of those years being here in Alta Aurelia.  I love teaching and being a part of the daily learning that happens in the classroom.  

The picture above is from the Iowa State Capitol Law Library. This library is a library like no other that I have ever visited. I get to visit this library once a year when I go with some of my favorite people, 8th graders, to visit the Iowa State Capitol!!
