Google Classroom is the online learning platform we will use throughout the school year. This will become especially important should we have to be home for an extended period of time. Your student should be familiar with it, but we will spend many of our first days getting familiar with its different functions and how it is used in my classroom.

Google Classroom is a space where I can post videos, links, assignments, questions, etc and students can complete their work online. They have access to this on any device if they sign in using their school email. Through Google Classroom students can still collaborate through commenting and chat functions.

While in the classroom, I will make sure they are comfortable with it. We use it often for writing. We will still use an interactive notebook for reading as long as we are in the classroom (let's hope that's all year :) !)
