eLearning for Educators Alabama
eLearning Alabama uses a Web-based model to provide effective professional development that leads to gains in teachers' content knowledge, improvements in their teaching practices, and increases in the achievement of their students.
eLearning Alabama started in 2006 as Alabama's implementation of the e-Learning for Educators Initiative, a project funded through a federal Ready to Teach grant and multi-state collaboration between ten state education agencies and associated public broadcast stations. eLearning Alabama partners are the Alabama Department of Education Technology in Motion program and Alabama Public Television.
eLearning Alabama is an excellent way to move forward on your own professional development, responsive to your schedule and needs.

ACLD/ALSDE PLUs: Tuesday, October 6, 2026 - Monday December 21, 2026 (Enroll August 24, 2026 - October 5, 2026)
You will receive information about your eLearning Schoology login on/about the start date of the course.
To access your course: https://alsde.schoology.com/login Do not use your LEA Schoology account.
Course access starts the first day of classes.
Visit the Participants page to find information of interest to participants, including the Course Schedule, Pacing Guide, and details on how to earn an ACLD-approved PLU from eLearning.
Vist the Resources page to find applications for those wanting to become Adjunct Instructors or Course Developers along with other reference documents.
Visit the Tutorials page to find various tutorials to help register for courses in PowerSchool Professional Learning and navigate the course management system Schoology.
