EVERY design I print MUST to be created by you in Tinkercad.
In other words ... DO NOT find a 3D design you like and ask me to print it
Please have Mr. W. add you to the Flex class if you are not in one of his 7th grade science classes. Try this link https://www.tinkercad.com/joinclass/81EP14HSR
NOTE: My printers do not successfully print detailed models. I STRONGLY suggest you create fairly simple designs.
Designs must be school appropriate to be printed. Mr. W. has the right/ability to not print inappropriate designs.
Make sure your design is SMALLER than 100 mm wide by 100 mm long by 100 mm tall!
Tinkercad measurements are in mm unless you change the measurements.
When a design is completed, save the file in the .stl format. (Ask Mr. W. for help if you do not know how to do this!)
Email your competed design as an .STL file to Mr. W. gwestbroek@alpinedistrict.org I will print it if possible - if over 100 grams, or cannot be printed, I will respond via email on why it cannot be printed.
You may look at the filament colors around my printer and ask for a specific color in your email.
WARNING: thin and small parts DO NOT print well. I recommend nothing thinner than 2mm. See the problem examples below.
If a design is not printing correctly, I will stop the printing process.
You need to come get your printed designs - I will not look for you to give it to you.
