An entire street in our neighborhood drew positive messages and happy pictures on their sidewalks so that as we walk down the street to get some fresh air, we are reminded to focus on things that make us happy!
An aerobics teacher in Saratoga Springs invited all of the neighbors to get on their back porches and she taught a fun exercise class to everyone on her street. Saratoga Springs Aerobics Class - 6 feet apart :)
People in our neighborhood are volunteering to buy groceries for the elderly in order to help them stay healthy
I saw several amazing children at our school picking up lunches from the sweetest lunch ladies around! :)
I talked to teachers, administrators and librarians who are working hard to come up with fun ways to help all of our students know that they are loved and missed at school.
In our neighborhood several people stood outside (6 feet apart) with signs and honking horns to cheer for missionaries who were sent home earlier than planned.
People are having unique scavenger hunts in their neighborhoods. Everyone puts an object in their front window and neighbors walk around trying to find each object. This is a fun activity that can be done while we're staying physically distant, but socially connected! :)
Teachers are doing parades so they can wave to their students! What a fun way to stay connected! :)
Yesterday was April Fools day. My family LOVES to play fun pranks on each other...and get each other back. All day long we shared funny things that were happening that made each other laugh. Here's a picture of what my husband did to me first thing in the morning.
