About Mr. Joe

Hello! I am Mr. Joe Kelly and I have been in education for over 41 years! I have been a teacher, principal, and counselor. This will be my third year at Harvest Elementary. I look forward to getting to know the students at our school this year. Together, we can make great things happen for students! I am blessed to have the greatest job in the world. Working with young people and helping them dream and achieve their goals is a great opportunity and very satisfying.  I am married and have 5 children and eleven grandchildren. Outside of school, I am involved with Martial Arts and own a Karate Studio with my son. I also love cooking, gardening, playing with my two dogs, and spending time with my wife and family. I also just authored a book about helping tweens and teens navigate conflict. The book is called "Stormy Seas: How To Navigate Conflict With Tweens and Teens."
