How can I help my child with Spanish at home?

1. Use all of these links and resources I have posted!

2. Show interest in what they are learning and encourage them to keep going even when it is really hard!

3. If you have another child or someone in the family who speaks Spanish encourage them to talk to each other in Spanish.

4. Raz-kids. It is an online library that the school has provided for us where Spanish books and videos can be found. I will get the login information to you when it is given to me.

5. Listen to music in Spanish.

6. Practice counting with them in the car or at home while picking up things around the house.

7. Ask them colors of things they see at home or when you are out and about.

8. Read books and watch movies in Spanish and then talk about it!

9. Put Spanish labels around the house.

10. Duolingo app.

11. Worldbookonline.com and teachertube.com have Spanish videos and resources you can use. I also show many videos from Rockalingua in class.
