Each day of the week: please click on each heading on the top of this page for today's assignments for: Reading, Phonics, Writing, Math and Science.

Expectations: It is expected that first grade students spend 1-2 hours a day alongside parent/caregiver to complete these assignments. Create a schedule to complete the tasks. Children thrive on structure. It is helpful for them to know the routine for the day and what they can expect to learn and do. Provide frequent breaks, especially between more difficult tasks.

Dear Parents,
We are excited to have a Virtual Dance Festival this year, and need your help. The First grade will be dancing to "Wash Your Hands" (Baby Shark). Please record your child dancing WITH WHATEVER FUN MOVES THEY CHOOSE, to our song, and send it to your child's teacher NO LATER than Monday, May 18th. We will then compile all dancers into one fun First Grade dance to share with the rest of the school.
