Have you read the book Rescue by Jennifer Nielsen? It's the story of 12-year-old Meg, who lives in France when it was occupied by the Nazis in World War II. Meg received a coded letter from her father (who is a spy) to help her rescue a family of Germans trying to escape the Nazi's. Can she can break the code, avoid the Nazis' clutches, and get her three companions across the mountains to freedom? I can't wait to finish and see how this engaging story will end. I'll write a review once I've finished the book.
