My name is Johanna Akina (Yo-haw-nuh Ah-key-nuh). I'm so happy to be at Cherry Hill Elementary! We have amazing and kind students and teachers here--thank you for welcoming me!

I'm from Hawai'i and moved to Utah in 2019. Some of my favorite things are baking, being with family, going to the beach, reading, watching Korean dramas, and spending time outdoors. I was an elementary librarian in Hawai'i before moving to Utah.

Technology is so fun to explore. I love that I can try many different types of things and create in many different ways--from coding video games, animating objects, making life easier through apps, and so much more. I also love that the students usually teach me how to use technology!
