Once you are hired and your paperwork is processed through HR, a “Welcome Email” will be sent to your personal email (@gmail, @yahoo, @hotmail, etc.) account. This email will give you information regarding your new district account:
Universal Account - Your Alpine username and a Claim Code (like a temp password) will be sent to you along with a link to complete your account setup. You will login and set your new personal password. This account is known as your Universal Login because you will use it for most district applications.
Employee Service Portal - This is where you look up your paychecks and leaves
Gmail and other Google applications - This is Alpine's district email system
Skyward - This is Alpine's Student Information System (SIS) which contains your gradebook information
The Alpine Wireless Network for your computer or devices
Access to your district computer when issued
District applications that use class lists will not typically be available until early August after course registration is complete and the teachers and students from the Student System (Skyward) are synced with the applications.
This includes applications such as Canvas, MasteryConnect, Google Classroom, Wonders, iReady and other learning and classroom applications.
