Learning Objectives: Technology literacy is vital for our students. Learning will be centered on the Alpine School District’s Vision for Learning Computer Science and Digital Literacy. Students will learn digital safety & citizenship, foundational technology skills, creativity & innovation, and computer science skills. The curriculum will also integrate grade level classroom standards.
Acceptable Use Agreement: Please use Skyward to log in and complete the Skyward Student Information Update to give permission for your student to use the computers at school. Students are unable to fully participate in computers until it is completed.
Behavior: Students are expected to show respect for themselves, others, and school property. We will focus on the 6 C’s: collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, communication, character, citizenship.
Grades: Students will receive a grade of Pass or Needs Improvement according to ASD policy.
Homework: There is no homework, but students are welcome to use my website Cedar Ridge Cougars to improve their skills. The website has typing practice sites and other educational resources. As always, please supervise your children when they are using technology.
