Your team is assigned the delicate task of sifting through the evidence to recreate the incident and solve this mystery! 

We already know that the British soldiers fired on the citizens of Boston.

Here is the mystery that you need to solve:

• Did the British soldiers murder the citizens of Boston? 

Or - 

• Did the British soldiers fire their guns in self-defense?

As you work to solve this mystery, carefully review the evidence, but be warned - the witness accounts might not always agree with each other. Your team will need to discuss your individual findings to try to piece together what really occurred and solve the mystery.

At the end of your investigation, you will share your team's findings and conclusions with the class. You will also turn in all of your team's research notes and the group summary.
