Learning in the Library!
We'll be working on learning how libraries work, the parts of books, Fiction vs Non-Fiction, and the Dewey Decimal System. We'll also be reading a lot of great books!
We got new seating! Remind students that "Gray is for Grown-ups, Blue is for you."
The blue seats at the ends of the shelves are SILENT SPOTS and recognize students who beat the check out challenge that week!

Hi, I'm the new librarian at Bonneville Elementary and I'm thrilled to be here!
Ms. Katie Atkinson is my little sister!
I grew up here in Orem. After teaching preschool for over 10 years, I stayed home with my son. When he went to school, I became a substitute teacher for a few years and loved it. When they needed a sub for Mrs. Cook last year, Katie recommended me. When Mrs. Cook retired they actually chose me to come back! Now I'm learning new things every day and enjoying being in my happy place!
