Thank you for your participation in our 2021 PD Hours 1-2 with Nancy Frey.  Our WL team is simply incredible! It has been inspiring to learn of the rich discussions during the webinar and read of the connections made between engagement and the specific work we are doing in our PLCs. Best team ever!

 Now to PD Hours 3-4.  These 2 hours will be completed asynchronously with a small team element.  

 First, we invite you to complete a short 4 question survey (Links to an external site.) to thoughtfully reflect and choose where you are in regard to the 3 pillars of engagement: relationships, clarity, and challenge.  The 4th question will ask you to choose one of those pillars in which you would like to increase your own professional capacity between now and the end of the school year.

 During the next two weeks, we invite you to read the corresponding chapter of your aforementioned choice from Nancy Frey’s book, “Engagement By Design” with the goal to deepen your understanding in that area. As you read and make connections to your own practice, be thinking of a meaningful goal you can make to create professional growth.

On May 3, we invite you to attend Monday collaboration with your goal in mind!  At this collaboration, you will be invited to share your goal on a form and participate in a discussion about what you have learned from the reading.  LINK TO INSERT GOAL (Links to an external site.)

Hours 5-11 Training at American Fork High School

When:  Wednesday, June 2, 2021

Time:  8:00am-3:00pm

Where:  American Fork High School

Lunch:  Yes, Kneaders

Bring:  Insights from the implementation of your engagement goal in May, computer, growth mindset, beverage of choice (Water, snacks, and lunch will be provided)
