Story Sequence

Objectives

  • Practice sequence & algorithm

  • Program Bee-Bot to retell a story in the correct 4 event sequence.

    • (NOTE: The lesson is flexible enough to accommodate any narrative students are studying during their Reading Lessons.)

  • Read (or reference) a short fable, folk tale, or story.

  • One teammate will place story sequence cards randomly on grid mat.

  • One teammate will plan the algorithm to make the Bee-Bot travel to story elements in the correct sequence.

  • One teammate will program the algorithm.

  • Check sequence

  • Move the story sequence cards to new random locations on the mat

  • Rotate roles and repeat.
